Only Gabe wasn’t counting on finding the beautiful FBI Agent Arianna, the crime lord trying to kill her or changing his mind about marriage.

Excerpt:

“I don’t know who the hell the three of you are but you two, step back or your buddy here gets a bullet to the head.”

“I am not afraid of bullets my dear.” In a swift movement Gabe spun around and faced her. His grin revealed two pointy fangs.

I really have no luck.

Arianna pointed the gun still, though it was a struggle not to be scared. He was looking at her like was she about to become his next snack. She had to be strong. Her finger cocked the gun. “Then be warned you blood sucking bastard, these are silver bullets.”

His grin vanished. “Theo! Danaldi! Step back.” His gaze penetrated her. Her mind started to fuzz, but she fought it.

“Sorry vampy, I’ve had a real bad day, I’m not up for mind games. Back away from the parchment.”

“There are names on that list that have died.”

She was officially scared. His tone was pure venom. “I know that and I am about to put you on the not so immortal list.”

His dark brows shot up and his eyes sparkled then his mouth broke into a large smile. Her brain connected the puzzle and some missing piece slid into place. She was staring at the man whose reflection had been in the display window.

He’s a vampire, how could he have a—

A sudden jar sent her gun sailing out of her hand and her arms and back pinned hard against the bedpost of the bed she had been on moments earlier.

“I love a challenge,” he whispered.

Her mind was mush, because under the circumstances, there was no way she should be attracted to the gorgeous man in front of her. He was going to kill her. What was it with the men in her life these days?

Turning Back - Available Now!

I know, I know, the book came out last week and I am just getting over here now. Well Here is the cover and I thought I would share the blurb with you all.

Blurb:

Joanna Mathis has lived the last seven years of her life without the man she would always love and without her faith in God. Shattered by a tragedy that stole her hope and her brother’s life she built a wall around her heart to stop from feeling. Going Back home changes that and brings her face to face not only with her broken spirit, but Nolan Kent.

Nolan Kent has spent the last years of his life missing his best friend and mourning the loss of Joanna. When she comes back into his life and takes a position at the school he works at, he can’t help but wonder if it is to test his faith or if it’s an answer to his prayers. Through the hurt of the past and shaky ground of a future can Nolan not only get Joanna to realize he still loves her, but the Lord does as well?

I was very excited about this book, despite the fact it is a short, because it was my first attempt at an inspirational. As a writer I like to grow and figured I would give it a try. I enjoyed it and have to confess I may write another short inspirational romance again--some day!
